Parkwatch Program
We are in the parks from May to September every year. Providing
the necessary service of parking lot security for our local parks.
Our presence brings a level of comfort to local people and tourists
who wish to enjoy our parks.

Ayum Creek waterfront CRD reserve park
Ayum Creek park is a birdwatchers' paradise! The small creek that
enters the water just behind Goodrich Peninsula is a haven for
swans and other birds. There are many bird boxes on tall poles
for nesting.
Vehicle parking is located just off Sooke Road by the Ayum Creek
bridge at 5585 Sooke Road, past the Shell Station.

Sooke Longboats
Since 1991 the Women's Longboating Committee has met at the Sooke
Marine Industries at 2019 Kaltasin Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m. every Monday morning. Students and local people take the
longboats out in the harbour to sail and row.
