The Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock is a partnership between the Canadian Cancer Society and local police agencies in your area to raise money for childhood cancer research programs that support children with cancer, and Camp Goodtimes, a free summer camp for children aged 6 - 16 with a history of cancer. It provides a fun-filled, happy, and safe camping experience and lets kids take a break from the reality of their disease and just be kids having fun at camp. An on-site physician and nursing team provide 24 hour medical care to those who need treatment while at camp.

The team has been picked and the spills and chills have begun as the riders learn the hazards of long distance cycling but bumps, bruises and a few stitches have not dampened the group's enthusiasm.
